Problems with posting pictures in Blogger?

With one of the last changes that Blogger made I found that adding images to my posts had become a hair pulling, fist pounding, blood pressure raising affair ( yes I am temperamental :-P ).  Not being that savvy when it comes to the nitty gritty of computers I loved Blogger and the ease with which I could post updates on my sims.  So I was very sad when I realized the layout that I have worked with for several years had been changed on me.  The drag and drop feature for pictures had been fabulous but then they decided to change something.  The old saying works so well here - if it ain't broke, (all together now ) don't fix it !!  Anyway, I have been searching for others to see how they may have gotten around my issue but all I found were more lost souls screaming like I was.  Today I decided to play around with a post one last time before I moved my blog to an easier to use one and I think I may have figured out a solution to my problem!  If you were having issues like I was this may help you.

Tesime - Round Ten : The Benet chapter

The Benet's were fortunate to have most of their children find good mates and be able to move into their own huts.  This is course meant more of the work fell to the Belle and Skalton and as elders they really could not keep up as they once did.  Their remaining son, Benito, was a great help but so far they were discouraged that he was still single.  Being the heir it was up to him to keep the homestead going.  One evening Skalton went to check on the vegetable patch and he was surprised to see strangers standing in the middle of the cucumbers.  The leader, a fellow in long robes and a scythe, becokned him closer.  It looked like quite a festive event and Skalton felt better than he had in years.  He was lighter and more carefree and the drink that Grimmy passed along was so refreshing !  As he began to fade Skalton realized he was going to the afterlife and waved at his beloved Belle and hoped she would not worry too much.  As usual, there were many tears from those left behind but Benito hoped some good would come from the tragedy so he could give his mother some joy in her last days.

Tesime - Round Ten : The Gallant chapter

When we last left the Gallant's, Ida (Benet) had just moved in and was making fast friends.  Forest was totally smitten and could not wait to make her his mate and her in laws were counting the days until they heard the pitter patter of little feet again. Often Tra would spend his day talking with the other elders in the community and the topic always came around to who was the latest to meet their maker.  On one particularly lovely summer day it was time for Forest to have his aging ceremony.  His father, Tra, was very proud of the man he had become and they shared many an evening discussing what would be expected of him when he joined with Ida in a few months.  Unfortunately before that day arrived Rose was struck by the white light from the sky and taken to her spirit home.  The family was inconsolable.  They managed to lift themselves out of their grief in time to help Ida make her transition into adulthood and were actually happy when the joining day arrived.  Once her belly began to grow they celebrated the creation of a new life and knew Rose was smiling down on them.

Tesime - Round Nine : The Phan-Benet chapter

As the world turns, the sun and the moon do their dance across the sky and our sims grow older.  This time the birthday fairy visited Frida who aged to an adult.  Now that they were the same generation again, Ping was thrilled to be able to show his affections once more.  Frida was very receptive to all this attention and when Ping asked her to be his mate she enthusiastically agreed.   They enjoyed the matrimonial bed and before long the fruits of their labour was evident and Frida had a proverbial bun in the oven.  She happily shared this news with her beloved mate who couldn't help but be quite proud of himself.

Tesime - Round Nine : The Lindt-Stonegate2 chapter

This time around there were lots of pictures to choose from !  Hopefully I won't have an issue with the new blogger. This is my first post since the mandatory change over and I didn't watch the instruction video like I should have.

Ahhh Gideon Lindt and Juno Stonegate were the perfect example of teenage years being mean to kids -  after all, Proactive had not been invented yet !  They didn't make us wait long  this round though and Gideon aged followed closely by Juno.  Now they could get to the very important task of courting and Juno wasn't afraid to be the aggressor in this family.  The end result was a vow of love and devotion shared between the young couple and some very welcome woohoo'ing !  Uh oh, was Juno too young to remember the lessons her family learned at the start of this challenge being redheads and living on a tropical isle??  Can you imagine how much she screamed giving birth AND being sunburnt??  Well thankfully they didn't run around naked so there are parts of her which have never seen the sun lol Of course the end result was this very yummy little baby boy named Benny who had his mommas red hair and both parents dark blue eyes.  Cutie patootie !

Ever the romantics, Liam and Summer were prone to severe cases of PDA. Of course you cannot fool around with Mother Nature and not expect her to shower you with gifts! Baby tossing was becoming a very popular event at aging ceremonies as Ericka and Abigail grew into toddlers. Now that the kids were older Liam and Summer were able to spend more time playing with them. They were such a joy to be around. Heavy with a baby in her belly it was time for the family to meet the new child. A boy ! Welcome to Tesime Joel.
