The Benet-Gallant's enjoyed the time with their young family and slipped into a normal routine of child minding.  Therefore it was a blessed day when Violet realized she was with child again.  The summer storms were especially violent with many trees around their hut going up in flames. Thankfully everyone remained safe and aging ceremonies began.  Kole, the first born of the first born ( Violet ) turned into a very studious child while Jorn made sure the twins, Denby and Evonnia, aged to toddlers by the age old baby tossing ritual.  In spite of their determination sometimes they were not able to take care of everything.  At the end of the pregnancy Violet called for Jorn to attend her.  This being her 3rd pregnancy as long as everything went well she was confident with the outcome.  What she did not predict was another set of twins !  Brothers Soren and Yorick joins their growing family.

Tesime - Round Nine : The Benet-Gallant chapter

Jorn was such a dotting husband. He loved to talk to their new baby even before it arrived. Violet on the other hand wasn't enjoying the pregnancy as much as her husband. All those hormones and chemicals running ragged in her body left her struggling over the most basic skills. Finally the baby pains started and she knew it was almost time to meet her new baby. It's a boy who they named Kole ! Violet if you remember was the first child born in Tesime so it was a blessed day when their first child was a male to carry on the lineage. Motherhood seemed to come naturally to Violet and once she got Kole on a schedule she even had time to socialize with some friends. It wasn't long before a sickly feeling came over her and she knew they would be parents again. The pains this time around were much stronger than with Kole so she began to worry that something was wrong. It's another boy ! Before they could even name him, Violet felt more birthing pains and delivered another baby. This time it was a girl ! Twins who they named Denby and Evonnia.

Tesime - Round Eight : The Benet-Gallant chapter

Time flies when you are having fun so the saying goes ! Finally our first teenagers, Jorn and Violet, have aged to adults ! This means all the flirting and wooing can now finally lead somewhere. Not wasting any time the couple vowed to love and cherish each other and sealed the act with shell rings they found on the beach, a romantic kiss and of course a round of well deserved woohooing. Violet liked to keep up her looks for her new husband. After all it wouldn't look good to have him stray since they are still newlyweds. They spend their evenings cuddling and dancing under the stars and being in love. Before long the couple is delighted to have a baby on the way ! Jorn pays special attention to Violet and the new bump making sure they are both entertained. When Mother in Law Belle Benet drops by the women bond while talking about all the good things in life.

Tesime - Round Seven: Introducing The Benet-Gallant chapter

It feels like yesterday that Violet Gallant was the first born child in Tesime and now we find her moved onto her own lot with her bridegroom, Jorn Benet. It didn't take long for Jorn to wonder though if her parents forgot a letter in her name and meant to call her violent instead :-o Mama Rose Gallant had taught Violet that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach and to make up for her less than hospitable behaviour Violet set about cooking a belly busting meal for her new husband. Jorn wasn't a total fool though and still remained on edge whenever she got close. In spite of a few rough patches he was taken with Violet's charm and was soon crushing on her harder than a satellite crash. Violet was beginning to warm up to Jorn as well but try as she might she was finding it difficult to hide her bristly side.

Wanting to prove her acceptance of this new pairing Violet called her father, Tre Gallant, and had him come by. She hoped that if both men got along well she would behave more like a loving wife should. After all her home life had been wonderful and her mother a role model wife. Seeing both men together Violet knew that Jorn was the right choice for her. That night before turning in, Jorn looked at Violet with those exotic gray eyes of his and pulled her close for their very first kiss. It was perfect ! As she swooned Violet thought maybe this wasnt going to be such a bad life after all.

A few days later some neighbours dropped by to see how things were progressing. Everyone got along well and enjoyed the perfect weather that Tesime normally offered. That night Violet grabbed a pouch and went to collect some fireflies. They cast such a romantic light inside their hut. While they slept a terrific storm blew through Tesime. The wind howled and the lightning lit up the sky. Inside their dwelling Violet was taken with sharp cramps and knew she would need to go outside to relieve herself. Once she was finished she stepped outside the latrine and BAM lightning stuck. She screamed as the bolt went through the top of her head to the the ground and Jorn rushed outside to see what had happened. Shocked ( haha pun intended ) at the vision before him he got her quickly back into the sleeping hut and tended to her wounds while she slept.
