In Tesime all the kids cannot wait to reach adulthood so they can get their mate and procreate.  Shoshana and Marcus were no different.  As soon as Shoshana matured Marcus was on one knee to seal the deal.  Of course the youngun's were not the only ones to want love.  Now that April and Tre Gallant were widows it only seemed natural to spend more time together and before they knew it sparks were flying !  That bed was getting lots of action this time around as Shoshana shared the great news with Marcus that they would be joining the parents club.  From the grave Jared had been watching this new development between his wife and Tre and he was not impressed.

Tesime - Round Nine : The Stonegate chapter

The Stonegate's and the Lindt's got together and arranged the coupling of Marcus and Shoshana Lindt. Shoshana was quickly welcomed into the family as she got to know Jared and April over dinner. The parents were looking forward to some grandkids hopefully while they were still alive ! They began to have second thoughts if it was possible when Jared was zapped while fishing one day with May. The bolt came straight out of the sky towards the top of his head and didn't stop until it exploded out his toes. Thankfully it wasn't his time to join his son Cruz on the other side though Cruz made himself known that this new girl in his bed was not appreciated.

Just before Marcus aged to an adult he stole his first kiss from Shoshana. It was love at first touch. Unfortunately when he had to participate in the aging ceremony he realized he would have to wait for his new love to become an adult and suffered a terrible breakdown ! It took a long time for him to become a productive member of the tribe again but he finally accepted they would be together soon. Quite a handsome adult don't you think ?

May was only entering the 4th stage of her life and was looking forward to what life had in store for her. Jared on the other hand had finally come to the end of his cycle. He crapped out in the crapper - what a terrificly awful way to go lol Knowing he would never see any new babies he tried to reason with Grimmy but it didn't help at all. The love of his life, April, was heartbroken and collapsed when she heard the news. All those who were close to Jared benefited from the vast amount of knowledge that he imparted on them and would remember him fondly for generations.

Tesime - Round Eight : The Stonegate chapter

Trouble never seemed to be far from the Stonegate's front door. Food stocks ran low and hunger threatened the family. Not only the humans were having this problem though, as animals began to hunt closer to the village for the first time ever. While trying to catch some butterflies one afternoon Dawn got too close to the edge of the forest and a momma bear jumped out and grabbed her. Dad Jared ran to get his fighting stick but by the time he got back to where Dawn had been she was gone for good. Jared and April were devastated by the loss. They never thought they would be as sad as when they lost Cruz to the great fire but they were wrong.

Older brother Marcus tried to spend more time with May hoping it would ease her sorrow. Mom April on the other hand felt that stretching and moving around would be her cure. This was the first recorded case of using yoga and jogging to ease depression. Of course the jogging might have been her way to ensure she could outrun any future bear attacks !

April came across the ghost of her youngest son Cruz one night. Marcus heard her scream and thinking it might have been another bear rushed to scare it off. Unfortunately it was him that got the scare ! There in the road between the hut and the ocean stood what looked like a man but was covered in hair like an animal. While it looked dangerous it did not make any attempt to attack so Marcus watched it for awhile. The manimal was startled by the ghost of Cruz and ran off. Thus legend of Big Foot began.

Tesime - Round Seven: The Stonegate chapter

After much negotiation with the other tribesmen a deal was struck to send Summer Stonegate and her younger sister Juno off to become mates. Since they were leaving the comfort of their own hearth for the first time, Dad Jared was on hand to make sure they got safely to their new homestead. There were still many wild animals that lurked in Tesime and the girls were not experienced with weapons to look after themselves - afterall that's what the men were for. When Jared returned home April was so happy to see him and hear all about his adventures and how the new land looked.

As things go in life their happiness was short lived. The very next night there was a terrible storm with lightning cracking from the sky. April began to wonder if maybe the Gods did not approve of their daughters matches when she heard blood curdling screams coming from the wooded area. She ran over to see her son engulfed in flames ! "Cruz !!!!" she screamed but he was already too far gone. Quickly she ran to make sure the rest of her offspring were out of harms way. Grabbing a bucket of water she rushed back to where Cruz lay only to see flames licking at her beloved Jared ! Instinct kicked in and she threw the water on Jared to douse the fire. This night there would only be one soul traveling to the other side. Once they knew their small hut was safe from further disaster April collapsed into a blubbering heap and the witch doctor was called to drive the demons from her head. Sadness descended aound their home and the upkeep was neglected. Soon pests arrived to feed on the garbage that was left around which threatened the whole family. This was the wakeup call the parents needed to get back to caring for the remaining children they had. It took several weeks to find the nests and kill off the vermin but order was restored just in time for April and Jared to welcome elderhood and little May to age to a child.

Tesime - Round Six: The Stonegate chapter

The redheads should be the name of this family ! Talk about a gene being dominant - Jared you are definitely the head of this clan. Summer and Liam Lindt spent some time together and as you can see there was attraction on both sides. (Go skin 1's ! ) The kids were not to be left out as Dawn aged to toddler and poor Cruz realized he was learning almost nothing at tribal lore camp. It seemed that he was different than the other boys in his group ( dun dun duuun ) The twins Marcus and Juno aged to teenhood - they are definitely not hard on the eyes. April being the breeder that she is had another baby girl named May - talk about an audience at a birth ! ( This is the first baby with Pooklet's new skins I downloaded - still not sure how it is going to work out but I'm willing to give it a go for interest sake - thanks taliahneth and Starsaphire2 for telling me about them :-D ) Summer will make a great mother. She is teaching Dawn to talk and poor May learned it is not ok to pee in the bed ! She does not rule the roost though as Juno reminded her. Playtime is fun but too much of a good thing can upset a little kids stomach. Cruz will think twice in the future about being swung around for that long ! Watch out girls that cute little animal does not want to be petted.
