The Sims Life & Times
The Sims, as anyone who plays can attest, takes on a life of its own. I created this blog so I could keep track of my sim stories and share them with others. I've always wanted to write stories but unfortunately I'm not very good at it lol I am hoping that just as my house building has improved so will my storytelling abilities.
My main family is called the Snookers. My goal was to move 1 sim into Relfamtown and see how the population would grow. I hope you will follow along with me.
If you would like to see all the stories in the Relfamtown series then click on Snooker Chronicles to the left and start at the bottom of the list.
UPDATE - Well since I had a major meltdown and lost Relfamtown, the Snookers are now in Sim Heaven and there will not be anymore updates on them :-( Out of the bad comes good though and Tesime is a new neighbourhood that I created for the Test of Time challenge. I hope you will enjoy their stories as well !

And here we have the Lindt's
This cute little home was built by the Lindt's. Samuel and Rebecca Lindt love the new diggs ! In spite of her not so great portrait Rebecca is a very loving wife and has very high hopes of carrying on her beloved husband's name into the next stage. With those big puppy dog eyes Samuel won't have any trouble enticing his wife to a little adult fun ;-) Lets hope Samuel is a little hard of hearing because Rebecca will saw down the forest with her snores !

Meet the Flint...oops Stonegate's
On lot number 3 we have Jared and April Stonegate. Being such fair skinned sims ( and a redhead to boot !? ) you can imagine how the tropical sun will play havoc with them. As we all know there was no SPF 30 available so they may be in for a rough ride. They will of course be one of the families fighting for the Emperor title in the next part of this challenge ( only skins 1 and 2 get this option - sorry Gallant's and Benet's !).
Even though April loves sports she isn't too fond of bugs so they built a lovely little treehouse for their starter home. It has a most wonderful view of the ocean across the way and should there ever be a tidal wave they may be the ones to survive !

Skalton and Rose Benet. Come on down !
Skalton and Belle Benet, originally from a tribe on the other side of the island, moved next door to the Gallant's. Skalton had some "strange" ideas with looking at the sun and stars and wanting to record them and Belle was definitely not your typical female because she would rather throw around the pigskin than learn the best way to sweep out a hut. Being a little different at the beginning of time was more of a challenge than it is today so you can imagine how happy their parents were to marry them off and see the backside of the pair !

Let's meet the Gallant's
Here we have Tre and Rose Gallant. They met as most people did in the caveman days - Rose was hauling water from the pond to clean up the mess the men had made and Tre was spending a leisurely day trying to catch some fish at said pond. When Tre's green eyes landed on Rose's grass skirt his world turned upside down. A few shy looks at each other later and Tre found himself standing outside her fathers hut with his proverbial hat in hand. Thankfully he didn't have to use the club he had brought but he was sure his friends were right about bringing it along !
Since this was the beginning of time there were lots of places to call their own. One of the scouts in the village had mentioned a new valley to the east that was right on the ocean. So they packed up some palm fronds and headed out.

Tesime - A new challenge
While cruising around for a new challenge on the BBS I found one called a Test of Time by SwallowTail87. The objective is : To make it from the age of the Neandethals to the modern world. With a fresh print out of the long list of rules off I went to start a new neighbourhood and create 5 new families of Sims to be my founders. The Gallant's, Benet's, Stonegate's, Lindt's and Phan's will hopefully entertain me for the foreseeable future.
I spent quite a bit of time creating 5 very different style of homes ( oops they were supposed to start off homeless? ) and decorating the block they would live on. I was scouring the fansites looking for authentic Caveman items to add to the realism when I had a thought - maybe MY sims would be of the South Pacific variety and that way I could take advantage of the items EA already included for me. Grass skirts and kimonos would make great outfits for my starters and there were already lots of wallpapers that had that beachy theme thanks for the Bon Voyage EP and since it would be summer year round they wouldn't get frostbite.
Even though I might have bent the rules just a tad I will see how far we go. Please help me welcome the newest residents of Tesime into our hearts !
