The bus which stopped in the middle of nowhere made her question her childhood fantasies. There was a realtor's office across the street so that was her first stop. Since money was in short supply Gina bought a small little house out in the burbs. Oh yes, she might think this little town with the 1 bus stop was small but wait until she took a taxi to her new home ! The cozy green house was the only one she saw. It was rather cute tho so she jumped out of the cab and ran inside to have a look around.
Soon Gina found a job at a cosmetics company - La Beaute. She spent her days being a guinea pig testing out new makeup because the company advertised they didn't test on animals. Before long she got a promotion and then another. There were not alot of other people around Relfamtown but Gina did find herself attracted to a guy named Remington. It didn't hurt that he was her maid and she got to see him every day.
They got along so well in fact that before long they were engaged, married and enjoying all benefits that go with it. Gina kept it in the back of her mind that she wanted to make her mark on this town and that meant having kids. La Beaute had a really good maternity program and Gina was hoping to take advantage of it at least 3 times ! Of course that would mean lots of University tuition and there were always scholarships from La Fiesta Tech.
It wasn't long before Gina started to feel a little ill. Of course she was hoping this was morning sickness and not the shrimp she ate at the restaurant last night.
Sure enough over the years Gina eventually got her 3 little babies ! Christopher was the first born and of course a lot of hope was placed on him to do well in the community and to carry on the Snooker family name. Next came Alexis. She was Remy's little princess. He adored her and wasn't in any hurry for her to grow up. And last but certainly not least came Duncan. He was a free spirit who loved a good adventure.
Backtrack a little and as more promotions came along and after Alexis was born the Snookers knew they needed more room. Just up the street a new house had been built. It was a huge place that could hold them all as the family grew. Gladly they packed up the last of their belongings and with not much left in their pockets after the new mortgage headed off to the Bird House as it was called.
The years passed with many milestones occurring inside and outside those pelican pink walls. The children grew and Gina and Remy planned for their future when it would be time for them to attend University. The kids seemed very happy and couldn't wait to get started on their lives. When they became teenagers they all had great parties and grew into wonderful young adults !
Stay tuned for the next chapter of the Snooker Chronicles..........
