What the heck happened with this family?? I go to my folder to grab their pictures and this is all that is there !! Well this update is going to be short.

Gideon and Juno are still teenagers, getting to know each other and working the family farm. Can you believe I got the genie again?! Thats at least 3 families she has stopped by now. Hopefully the next round will have more to report. Hope you are all doing well with your challenge !

Tesime - Round Eight : The Lindt-Stonegate chapter

Like children I know we are not supposed to favour our sims but how can I not love this couple ? They are gorgeous and life seems to be going along so well for them ( bloody hell did I just jinx my fav family to a life of tragedy? ) ! Liam and Summer aged to adults and as with Jorn and Violet Benet ( nee Gallant ) they couldn't wait to be joined. ( I don't get it, Summer is a family sim so why the red glow around the ring? ) Anyway that didn't stop them from consummating the marriage and right away poor Summer had a terrible bout of morning sickness. Since Violet was in the family way as well, the new wives discussed everything to do with marriage and being pregnant. Crops don't harvest themselves so pregnant or not Summer had to pitch in. This probably helped her when it came to birth which is a good thing because lo and behold they welcomed twins ! Two adorable little girls who they named Ericka and Abigail Lindt. ( I don't force twins so I am always soooooo surprised and excited when I actually get them ! Do twins run in sim familes? I just realized that the Stonegate's had the first set of twins )

Tesime - Round Eight : The Gallant-Benet chapter

The Gallant-Benet's were all about together time. As teenagers they were enjoying the new freedom that came with living on their own lot. Of course the chores still had to get done but they didn't take much time at all. Because they lived close to the sea, Annalise found some sea sponges that helped her clean around the hut while Basil, out hunting bugs one day, found some new squigglies that made fishing a breeze. In the twilight they would lie in the grass and look up at all the stars, play the new game of Tesime Finger Trap or hide and seek with the wildlife.

Tesime - Round Eight : The Benet-Gallant chapter

Time flies when you are having fun so the saying goes ! Finally our first teenagers, Jorn and Violet, have aged to adults ! This means all the flirting and wooing can now finally lead somewhere. Not wasting any time the couple vowed to love and cherish each other and sealed the act with shell rings they found on the beach, a romantic kiss and of course a round of well deserved woohooing. Violet liked to keep up her looks for her new husband. After all it wouldn't look good to have him stray since they are still newlyweds. They spend their evenings cuddling and dancing under the stars and being in love. Before long the couple is delighted to have a baby on the way ! Jorn pays special attention to Violet and the new bump making sure they are both entertained. When Mother in Law Belle Benet drops by the women bond while talking about all the good things in life.

Tesime Family Tree

On our chat thread, Taliah helpfully suggested we look at Tribalpgages to create our family trees. With 20 generations stretching before us it is probably a good time to start now when there is a small number of sims! I already have a family tree program but figured I would try it out. It is really cool ! Of course since it is free they limit the features included but I still like it. The biggest issue at the start is only being allowed 50 photos. Thankfully I only have 36 sims yet so I am still OK. Once I go over that it might be worth looking at the year fee. I also use the Sims2DB for my day to day recording because without that I wouldn't have a clue who to play next let alone what was supposed to happen. At the beginning SimPE would extract data from your game and populate the database but something went oopsie with mine so I only use it for manual data collection now. Please note it is an unsupported program now so use at your own risk. How are you keeping track of your game?

Tesime - Round Eight : The Phan chapter

Here we find Oringo who is looking mighty adorable as he ages into a child. Those new skins of Pooklets are cool. There may be 3 teenage boys in this family but Mykelti, the youngest, had the moves ! Skye Gallant could not help the butterflies that appeared when he was around. They had spent some time getting to know each other when we last visited with the Gallant's and this continued this round. Soon cupid was shooting off his bow and the pair had fallen in puppy love. All that cuddling was the precursor to a full on smooch and the world seemed to stop when their lips met. Brother Hasan, while still single in spite of being an older brother, was taken with the sweet Skye and wished his brother well. Cimon thinking of the future figured Skye would make a great addition to the family. Plus she had really great child bearing hips !

Tesime - Round Eight : The Lindt chapter

One day while Jeremy and Abner were fishing by the pond, a very strange old lady appeared. After the burglary attempt on the Benet's they were suspicious and grabbed a rope hoping to catch her. In spite of her age she was too quick for them and disappeared into a mist. They had heard the old wives tales about witches, soothsayers and sorcerers etc and while it was part of their culture they had never really paid it much mind.

Samuel saw something glittering in the sunlight and went to investigate. It was a golden lamp but of course never having seen one before Samuel had no idea what it was. When he bent to pick it up it got warmer in his hands and a purple smoke appeared. When it cleared a genie was before him and said he would grant Samuel a wish ! Samuel thought for awhile and said since his family had grown so much he would love to help them out. So he wished that the Lindt family would never have to worry about having enough food and could care for their families. Out of the air appeared a bag filled with dried fish ! Since cash wasn't invented yet they could use this to feed themselves and to barter with other families for things they may need. The family was very surprised when fish kept turning up all over the lot ! The genie had indeed blessed their family. As Shoshana aged to a teenager she hoped this would mean a suitable mate could be arranged for her.
