Tesime - Round Nine : The Phan chapter

Tesime was still a pretty deserted island and that meant there was quite a bit of wildlife around. Two stray dogs made their way to the Phan household and before anyone could say scoot they went at it while the residents watched. The Phans had no problem with male children. By the time Skye Gallant moved in as a mate for Mykelti there were 3 teenagers on the lot. Talk about testosterone overload !

Manchu was the first teen this round to age to adult. Unfortunately with the limited females in Tesime it looks like he will be a bachelor. Sure a few gals dropped by for his birthday party but they were spoken for. Meanwhile, Hasan found some fermenting tea berries in a hallow stump out back and decided to add them to the dinner. Before long everyone was quite giddy though they were not sure why. Hasan took this as his chance to throw a little flirt Skye's way and with her defenses down due to the wine she flirted right back. Unfortunately Mykelti was across the garden and saw it all so he stomped over to give Skye a piece of his mind.

Worried that Mykleti would kick her out of the hut and realizing she really did have feelings for him she begged and pleaded and tried to explain what had happened. With her green eyes filled with tears he knew that he would forgive her. This was not what Hasan had in mind and he gave Mykelti a few good ones up the side of the head. Sadly he was but a minor blip on Skye's love radar as she and Mykelti made up. To make matters more complicated Oringo aged to teenager as well. Would the Phan men ever find enough women to love?

Tesime - Round Nine : The Lindt chapter

Quick update for the Lindt's :
Not having a mate and still living on his parents farm, Jeremy, tried to make himself useful. After all, the folks were getting older and they seemed to enjoy spending more time with each other cuddling and dancing under the stars. Loneliness was getting the better part of Jeremy and wanting to feel someone elses hugs tried to entice Rose Gallant. Of course she was having non of that! Strangers were still a problem for Tesime as a transient decided to help herself to some of the Lindt's possessions.

Tesime - Round Nine : The Stonegate chapter

The Stonegate's and the Lindt's got together and arranged the coupling of Marcus and Shoshana Lindt. Shoshana was quickly welcomed into the family as she got to know Jared and April over dinner. The parents were looking forward to some grandkids hopefully while they were still alive ! They began to have second thoughts if it was possible when Jared was zapped while fishing one day with May. The bolt came straight out of the sky towards the top of his head and didn't stop until it exploded out his toes. Thankfully it wasn't his time to join his son Cruz on the other side though Cruz made himself known that this new girl in his bed was not appreciated.

Just before Marcus aged to an adult he stole his first kiss from Shoshana. It was love at first touch. Unfortunately when he had to participate in the aging ceremony he realized he would have to wait for his new love to become an adult and suffered a terrible breakdown ! It took a long time for him to become a productive member of the tribe again but he finally accepted they would be together soon. Quite a handsome adult don't you think ?

May was only entering the 4th stage of her life and was looking forward to what life had in store for her. Jared on the other hand had finally come to the end of his cycle. He crapped out in the crapper - what a terrificly awful way to go lol Knowing he would never see any new babies he tried to reason with Grimmy but it didn't help at all. The love of his life, April, was heartbroken and collapsed when she heard the news. All those who were close to Jared benefited from the vast amount of knowledge that he imparted on them and would remember him fondly for generations.

Tesime - Round Nine : The Benet chapter

The Benet family has become quite small now that all the daughters have moved out with their mates. After the hunting lesson one day Benito invited Oringo Phan over. They chatted about the different animals they had seen and who would be the first one to actually bring one home. Skalton, overhearing this conversation, figured the least he could do was to give his son a "leg up" on the competition so one night he and Benito went up in the hills to see if they could track any animals. The only thing they came home with unfortunately was a bad case of Ruby Rash. It was all hands on deck to keep the farm running and the family spent many a day tending their precious plants. Before long Benito was old enough to have his aging ceremony. Older brother Jorn dropped by to congratulate him on this achievement. They were all proud of the youngest Benet child who would hopefully find a mate and carry on the lineage on the family lot.
