Helloooooo....is there anybody out there?

I cannot believe I started this challenge so long ago.  Thank the creator of the Sims2 data base for their program because there would be no way I could have kept all the residents of Tesime straight without its help.

Today I dropped in on the Test of Time Challenge to see how they were faring since it has been almost a year since I played them.  I was going to play the Benet-Gallant family but when I looked their oldest son was actually an adult. Pretty sure I must have skipped a round because Kole was not supposed to be the first 3rd generation to reach adulthood.  Did you read that? 3rd Gen child has reached adult !  That means it is time to FINALLY MOVE TO ROMAN era.  I am going to go with it and not try to determine what I did wrong.

Now I have to go searching for all sorts of Romanesque items.  Sure I could build the houses and really it should be part of the fun but I have never been a great lot builder and certainly will not be creating meshes for clothing when there is so much out there already. Course now I just have to find it.  If you have any suggestions please let me know !

My alterations to the challenge so far has been to shorten the teens from 15 days to 9 using elixir and going with 2 generations from here on in.  Wish me luck 😄

It has been over a year since I last played with my Tesime family and I couldn't stay away any longer.  I have not decided yet if I will post updates on each round as I did before but I did update the family tree with all the latest comings and goings. 

The main change will be speeding up the rounds so I can finally move beyond the Neanderthal era.  To help with that I have reduced the teenage years from 15 down to 9 with the help of the Elixir.  Problem is making sure everyone is in the green before using it otherwise it ends up adding days to them lol that defeats the purpose as you can imagine.  So far it is working well.

Thank you to the creator of the Sims2DB.  Without that I would not know how I could possibly keep this challenge straight after so many years.

Having the male child stay on the original lot has really taken the toll on the Stonegate's.  At least their relations are well tied to the Lindt's from all their daughters so hopefully that will result in a higher class in the Roman era.

Tesime - Round Ten : The Phan-Benet chapter

Ping and Frida were very excited for the new baby.  They spoke to her every day and played little games even before she was born.  The excitement continued when little Maylin arrived with the new parents doting over her. She was a lovely baby who didn't fuss too much at all.  Just after her first aging ceremony though she caught a fever.  Frida tried all the remedies the other tribeswomen suggested but it was not enough.  Little Maylin joined the spirit leader in the sky. The young couple was devastated and spent a great deal of time trying to console each other.

Tesime - Round Ten : The Lindt-Stonegate2 chapter

For Juno and Gideon life revolved around their son Benny.  They helped him with his aging ceremony and spent many a day teaching him all he would need to grow into a resourceful man.  There was still time for play in any childs life though as Benny proved.  Juno was lucky to have Mother Nature smile on her again and she gave birth to another son, Lazarus.
